I've Used Sunday Riley for Years. Here's My Honest Review (+ Promo Code)

Honest review · Updated October 2026 · Tested by Qatch

I first tried Sunday Riley products in my early twenties. I’m now 37, still get compliments on my skin (esp. when getting facials!!), and am still a loyal user of Sunday Riley, so I thought I would share the products I’ve been using - and new ones I recently have tried - all with my honest review.

Quick Answer: is Sunday Riley worth it? Yes, and these four are the ones I'd buy.

C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream ($65) is the brightening night cream I've used for years. B3 Nice ($65) is the one that surprised me most: my pores looked smaller within a week. Good Genes (from $50) is my night-before-an-event treatment. AI ($85) is an easy to use retinoid serum keeps my skin balanced and my other products working efficiently. Use code QATCH15 for 15% off Sunday Riley.

The 4 Sunday Riley Products I Use

1. C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream ($65)

Code: QATCH15 for 15% off at Sunday Riley

The honest take: the one I've used the longest, and the one I'll never stop buying.

The C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream works while I sleep. It's safe to use during the day, but I've made it a staple of my nighttime routine. It really brightens up your skin, especially after your luteal phase, after a long week, and in the winter months when everything looks a little dull.

I've been using it for years, and it's stayed consistent even as my skin has changed. That's rare. Most products I loved in my twenties stopped working for me at some point. This one didn't.

2. B3 Nice 10% Niacinamide Serum ($65)

Code: QATCH15 for 15% off at Sunday Riley

The honest take: I saw results within days, and I felt silly for not trying it sooner.

I'm new to B3 Nice, and given how big a fan of Sunday Riley I am, I honestly don't know what took me so long. I bought it to help with the look of my pores. Without changing anything else in my routine, I applied it at night about every other night for a week, and my pores looked noticeably smaller.

The overall effect when I woke up was the best part. It was one of those "ok, I look really refreshed" mornings, and I wouldn't have known why except that this was the only thing I'd changed. I'm now telling all of my friends to try it.

3. Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment (from $50)

Code: QATCH15 for 15% off at Sunday Riley

The honest take: my reserve for when I really need help.

I use Good Genes sparingly, but it's amazing when I need it. I've used it for years, and when I was younger, I liked it but didn't love it, probably because I didn't really need it yet.

I bought it again recently and brought it into my "gotta look hot tomorrow" night-before routine. It gives my skin the look of having just had a facial, without the facial. My skin looks and feels a little smoother, and it just radiates.

4. AI Smart Retinoid Serum ($85)

Code: QATCH15 for 15% off at Sunday Riley

The honest take: my reserve for when I really need help.

What I love about AI is you get the benefits of retinol, but for blemish prone skin. I generally have normal skin, but after pregnancy and breastfeeding my hormones were wacky, and so was my skin. So to ease back into it, I started using this. When I use this, the next morning my skin looks calmer, less red, pores look smoother, and I feel like I look refreshed. I don’t use this every night, just a few nights a week when I feel I need it.

It lasts a long time!! So you’re definitely getting your return in skinvestment.

One important note: AI is a retinoid serum (it pairs two retinoids, HPR and Adapinoid, for congestion, texture and pores), and retinoids aren't recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If that's you, skip this one for now and talk to your doctor.

How I Use All Four

The C.E.O. cream is my nightly moisturizer, and B3 Nice goes on underneath it every other night. Good Genes comes out the night before something big. And AI I use a few times a week. I don't use all four on the same night, and I'd always start one new active at a time so you can tell what's working. The full routine, including what order to apply them in, is in my Sunday Riley routine.

Who Sunday Riley Is For

Sunday Riley is for you if you want skincare that actually changes how your skin looks, and you're willing to pay for formulas that work. It's especially good if your skin goes dull in winter, or if you want one or two "night before" products you can count on.

It's not for you if you want a budget routine. These are investment products, which is exactly why the code matters.

So, Is Sunday Riley Worth It?

Yes. If you're only buying one, start with the C.E.O. cream for brightening or B3 Nice if pores are your thing. Keep Good Genes for the nights you need it. And use QATCH15 for 15% off.
