Everyone quietly switched to brown mascara this year. Including me. I realized my hazel eyes popped when I used brown mascara and eyeliner, but I had also been focusing on lash health and prioritizing tubing formula’s over regular and waterproof mascara.

So you get the easy removal without the tube structure. For a lot of people that is the actual thing they wanted.

Before Dawn is a rich brown. The formula is conditioning, with shea butter, beeswax, and arginine to help fortify lashes, and reviewers consistently say it does not clump or flake across a 12-hour wear. The common complaint is volume: if you want dramatic lashes this is not the one. If you want your own lashes looking clean and separated, it is excellent.
